Tom brings over two decades of private equity and investment experience to his role as Managing Partner at Rockford Bay Partners. Known for his thoughtful approach to partnership and value creation, David has a track record of scaling founder-led businesses into industry leaders through operational improvements, strategic acquisitions, and disciplined capital deployment.

Before joining Rockford Bay, David was a member of the CVIC team, where he oversaw lower middle market investments across a number of sectors. He began his private equity career at Bain Capital, where he was part of the firm’s growth fund, working closely with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and post-acquisition integrations.

David holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University. He serves on the boards of several portfolio companies and is actively involved in mentoring emerging fund managers and supporting entrepreneurship programs in underserved communities.

Outside of work, David enjoys backcountry hiking, college football, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Anna Duarte is a Vice President at Rockford Bay Partners, where she focuses on sourcing, executing, and managing investments. Anna plays a key role in deal diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio company growth initiatives.

Prior to joining Rockford in 2021, Anna was a Senior Associate at Apax Partners, a European-based private equity firm that focuses on investments in technology, internet/consumer, and services sectors across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Anna earned her BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is a graduate of INSEAD’s Executive Master in Finance program.  She is an active member of Women in Private Equity and regularly volunteers with initiatives supporting women in entrepreneurship.

Although the United States was home base, Anna spent much of her childhood living in various countries due to her father’s military service. These experiences fostered a deep appreciation for travel, and she continues to enjoy exploring new places and cultures.
